Site selection must be made by an instructor when beginners are flying. There are three great bunny hops slopes on the plateau. Just choose the right one for the wind conditions on the day. You can fly here in stronger conditions than elsewhere due to the sheltering effect of the Ma On Shan main ridge. Clean pools in the stream on the walk up/down provide a refreshing dip at the end of the day. There is a small hooch where you can buy soft drinks/water/biscuits etc near the small bridge at the dip in the road on the way up. Take care when driving on the road (single track mostly) as there are lots of blind bends and many erratic drivers!" |
